Lyon, je t’adore beaucoup!

I am so enamoured with Lyon. I have already written a post about Lyon – Lyon, je t’adore! – but I have decided that one post is not enough 🙂

Lyon is a beautiful city, with so much to offer. Therefore, there’s so much to explore and absorb! Culture, history, nature, architecture, gastronomy…. it’s all worth it. On my last half day, I decided to walk around the old town and have a leisurely lunch by Cathédrale Saint-Jean-Baptiste de Lyon, in Place Saint-Jean, before perusing the small boutiques where I managed to stock up on many wonderful gastronomic souvenirs.

I love the architectural mix within Lyon, which you will see from my photos. The colourful and quaint buildings are so charming, and the little pieces of art (statues, old shop signs, fountains) are delightful. Lyon has character.
